The spreads above and below are from a university dissertation. It includes a three-page spread in Adobe InDesign and an online feature in Shorthand, inspired by Mojo magazine. We were given the freedom to be creative. I chose to explore the music industry with producer Nick Mills, Kyle Simmons from established band Bastille and upcoming artist Malaki.
Visiting Nick in a music studio in Wimbledon we discussed all things music at length. He identified Malaki as a rising star in the industry. They are now working on a project together. The online feature includes a video interview, audio clip and infographics.

The Madrid story is from 2023, written in my second year of university, highlighting ongoing problems within Madrid’s healthcare system. The regional government has been accused of attempting to destabilise the public healthcare sector in order to hand it over to the private sector. Read the full article:


An extract from a feature for FromTheSpot, a deep dive to explore the La Liga 2024/25 title. It was a joy to have the freedom to write about Spanish football. Now as part of FromTheSpot’s team, I have been writing match reports covering the Premier League and La Liga.
